First Announcement of the 37th GCCCD Annual Meeting 2026
Dear GCCCD® members and friends,
The 37th Annual Meeting and Academic Symposium of the Association of Chinese Chemists and Chemical Engineers in Germany (GCCCD®) will be held in Berlin, Germany, from the afternoon of Saturday, November 21, to Sunday, November 22, 2026. The specific venue will be announced in the second announcement.
Under the theme “Catalyzing a Sustainable Future: Sino-German Collaborative Innovation in Green Chemistry and Energy Transition,” this year’s annual meeting will focus on cutting-edge advances and innovative achievements in chemistry, chemical engineering, catalysis, materials, energy, and related interdisciplinary fields. The meeting aims to further promote Sino-German academic exchange, scientific and technological innovation, and collaboration among academia, research institutions, and industry.
We sincerely welcome experts and scholars, early-career researchers, and industry representatives from universities, research institutes, and the industrial sector in China and Germany to participate and submit their work, share research achievements, exchange ideas on the latest developments, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
A series of important award ceremonies and selections will also take place during the annual meeting. These include the 10th “Outstanding Doctoral Supervisor Award,” jointly selected by the Association of Chinese Chemists and Chemical Engineers in Germany (GCCCD) and the German Chemical Society (GDCh) and sponsored through a donation by Dr. Dahai Yu, as well as the 2nd “GCCCD Outstanding Young Engineer Award” and the “GCCCD Outstanding Young Scientist Award.” Awards for Outstanding Oral Presentation and Outstanding Poster Presentation will also be presented. Detailed selection procedures and relevant regulations will be announced by GCCCD in subsequent notices.
We warmly invite colleagues from China, Germany, and around the world to gather in Berlin, discuss the frontiers of academic research, advance Sino-German scientific and technological cooperation, and jointly catalyze a sustainable future!

Submission and Participation
You are welcome to submit your work to the Organizing Committee and participate in the annual meeting in the following ways:
1. Poster Presentation:
You may prepare a poster presenting your research results for sharing and discussion with other participants.
2. Oral Presentation:
If you have important research findings or insights to share, you may apply to give an oral presentation. Participants will have the opportunity to listen to your presentation and ask questions.
3. Other Innovative Formats:
If you have an innovative way of presenting and sharing your research results, you are also welcome to propose it. We encourage diverse presentation formats.
Submission deadline: October 24, 2026 (tentative; subject to the second announcement).
Submission requirements: Please send a one-page A4 abstract and a one-page A4 personal biography of no more than 500 words to the GCCCD email address.
Notification of acceptance: Notification regarding whether a submission has been accepted and whether it has been selected for a poster or oral presentation will be sent no later than November 6, 2026 (tentative).

Conference Registration
As a non-profit academic association, GCCCD offers free admission to the annual meeting for all participants, including GCCCD® members, speakers and invited guests, as well as all friends who wish to participate in the annual meeting, engage in academic exchange, and comply with the relevant conference rules and regulations.
